Business Systems/IT Manager

HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT

  • Become the in-house expert in SMG’s NetSuite ERP/MRP system.
  • Work with technical support to ensure the ERP system is properly set up and working efficiently and accurately.
  • Recommend changes to business systems, including ERP, to meet organizational needs.
  • Identify gaps in user-friendly functionalities and interfaces.
  • Resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and identify design needs for ERP systems.
  • Identify and spearhead process improvements and product flow improvements.
  • Propose and implement recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiencies, including waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
  • Administered Microsoft Office 365, including user accounts, SharePoint, and Microsoft Exchange.
  • Administer Current and Legacy ERP/MRP tools, including NetSuite, Odoo, and Sage.
  • Assist in the configuration and maintenance of onsite Windows and Linux-based servers and virtual machines.
  • Assist in the configuration and maintenance of onsite network equipment.
  • Assist employees with all IT needs, from system access to equipment support.
  • Support, monitor, and train staff with ongoing cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain data backup and recovery policies and procedures.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in IT administration, ERP systems management, and process improvement.
  • A proven track record of success in implementing and managing ERP systems, administering IT infrastructure, leading process improvements, and providing user support.
  • Demonstrated capability in administering and maintaining critical IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Office 365, user accounts, SharePoint, and Microsoft Exchange, as well as Current and Legacy ERP/MRP tools such as Odoo and Sage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues, troubleshoot problems and identify design needs for ERP systems and other IT-related matters.
  • Ability to support, monitor, and train staff on ongoing cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring the security of the company’s IT infrastructure and data.
  • Proficiency in assisting with the configuration and maintenance of onsite Windows and Linux based servers, virtual machines, and network equipment.
  • Familiarity with establishing and maintaining data backup and recovery policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of company data.
